We are not a company of products, but are rather a company of people. It's the staff of the RiCH Company that executes our vision, showcases our commitments, and exemplifies our beliefs.

Carla has been with the RiCH Company since March of 2006, when she started as a part-time computer trainer interested in building lessons for clients with diverse backgrounds and needs. She enjoyed seeing her first clients learn new skills from lesson to lesson, and, in the process of moving from part-time computer trainer to her current position, she has been happy to see other trainers and instructors guide their clients and students to even greater successes.
Carla has enjoyed a focus on education for a long time and has a background is in both sciences and education. She graduated from Colgate University in 1996 with a BA in Biology (but lots of experience in Physics tutoring) and the University of Michigan in 2003 with a MS in Physiology and a MA in Education for science curriculum development. Studying curriculum development included work on making very creative lessons and tasks that would meet national standards, as well as a more philosophical approach to students’ backgrounds and interests. Carla likes to work on applying these ideas to the RiCH Company’s work.
Carla came to Milwaukee for both work and speedskating. (While you might think she ought to like the cold winters, she would much rather have tropical weather year-round!) She is always working on giving help and advice, and she hopes to inspire people both at work and outside of work. She also enjoys helping with phone calls and emails for support for WCOnline and other RiCH Company products. Questions come from writing center directors and other university staff and faculty everywhere, including her “hometown” of New York. You might discover - or guess based on her background - that she is not a natural salesperson, but she is happy to talk whenever needed.

Sarah has recently moved in to the position of Co-director of Instruction and Products at the RiCH Company. She began as an Instructor of Keyboarding and Business Skills Training classes and, shortly thereafter, began working on course development and revision for the Business Skills curriculum. Additionally, Sarah has worked with Visually Impaired clients.
Sarah graduated in May 2007 with a BA in Visual Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. At the RiCH Company, Sarah is able to draw on her coursework in Psychology (mostly perception) as well as her experiences tutoring students in West Philadelphia. Prior to the RiCH Company, Sarah worked for Athletes in Action (a Christian Sports Ministry). Sarah’s favorite thing about working at the RiCH Company is helping clients set tangible, reachable goals as well as pushing them to learn and grow to achieve things of which they never thought they were capable.
Outside of working at the RiCH Company, Sarah speed skates and continues to work with the Milwaukee Area Athletes in Action Ministry.
