Certified CNA Training designed and customized for individuals with disabilities.
The RiCH Company's CNA Training Program relies on the same foundational principles that individuals have come to expect from RiCH Vocational Services. The willingness to customize each program for each individual, and the backing of a highly devoted team driven to help each individual succeed sets The RiCH Company apart.
Overview
Clients enrolled in the nationally certified program spend four to five weeks in the classroom learning valuable skills necessary in today's medical environments. The fifth or sixth week of the course provides hands-on clinical experience. After the successful completion of the program, including passing the state competency exam, training participants work with a company job development specialist to secure a job in the field through one of the RiCH Company's participating partners.
The class and clinical curriculum cover:
- Basic Nursing and Safety
- Hygiene, Nutrition, and Personal Care
- Elderly Care and Patient Rights
- Restorative and Rehabilitative Nursing
- Emotional and Cultural Communication
- Legal and Ethical Behavior
- Hands-On Clinical Experience
Unlike all other CNA Training Programs in the area, the RiCH Company provides:
- Study tips and directions to the course center at the start of the course.
- Constant follow-up with each student and instructor to ensure that each student has all of the tools and support to complete the program successfully.
- The ability to tailor the program to the unique needs of each student.
- Placement in the field after passing the required state test.
